TheBloggStory is a blog used to chronicle the website promotion techniques I use to promote this very blog. I will discuss the techniques and then apply them while sharing the results produced so that both I and the readers might learn from the blogs growth.
Interesting blog - I'm researching the viability of making some extra money with a blog. I have no illusions of making a living by monetizing a blog but believe it is realistic to generate some additional spending money by blogging about some experiences and adventures that interest me. Have you considered adding some links and reviews to other bloggers that are doing what you are doing? Your experiment is interesting and I am curious what others have learned through a similar process.
Hey, It seems we have our first comment! I, like you, sought to generate some extra earnings by maintaining a simple blog. I have little knowledge of blogging, but knew there were many others like myself, and yourself, out there. Thus, I thought to write about the process, by creating a diary of sorts would help others as well as myself learn what exactly it takes to maintain a successful blog. I have reached out to other bloggers, none conducting similar experiments, but have yet to receive word back. However, being that I created this blog on the basis that it would be a collaborative effort between the readers and myself, I will gladly take your advice. Do you know of any such websites, or do you maintain a similar website? Do you have a website at all? If you do I would love to link to it. I forgot to ask, but how did you come about finding this website? I ask so that I can increase the number of pathways to the site in that medium. To clarify, If you came to thsi site from my youtube page I would increase my efforts toward promotion via youtube.
